Mrs. Julia A. Lofland wife of Hevelo Lofland, died at the old home north west of the city on Wednesday morning of paralysis and Bright’s disease, aged 74 years. She was ill only a few days and her condition was not regarded as dangerous. This is the first break in the family after marriage that occurred 54 years ago. Mr. Lofland is 83 years old and very frail. There are five children in the family: Mrs. AL Clark; JM Lofland; Mrs. Purdem of Chillocothe, Mo. And Misses Julia and Eunice Lofland. The funeral was on Friday by Rev. Douglass and interment was at Oak Hill. - kbz
